Paradepalscosmicparcl is a small, independent learning site run by illustrators and art teachers who spend far too much time doodling round creatures in the margins of everything. We built it for one reason: most beginners admire mascots without ever being shown the simple rules behind them.
So we teach character design the way we learned it at the desk: one shape, one colour, one lesson at a time, until a finished mascot appears on your page.
Every page ends with something to draw. We favour exercises, swatches and checklists over theory, and we explain the reasoning in plain language so you can adapt it to your own style.
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or paid by any brand, team, platform or character owner mentioned on this site. All character names and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are referenced for educational commentary only.
Dates and creators we mention are checked against official sources, museum records and published books. If you spot a mistake, tell us and we will correct it quickly.
Our illustrations are flat vectors in a limited palette, practising exactly what we preach. Fewer colours, bolder shapes, more charm.
